Conflict minerals are natural resources extracted in unstable areas, the minerals trade can be
used on finance armed groups or human rights abuses. The four most commonly mined conflict
minerals are tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold, also referred to as 3TG, which are extracted from
the eastern Congo. These minerals are essential in the manufacture of a variety of electronic devices.
Cvilux declares to support RBA standards (Responsible Business Alliance), Code of Conduct establishes
standards to ensure that working conditions in the electronics industry in which electronics is a key
component and its supply chains are safe. We have taken action to make sure that our metal supply
chain follows the standards. However, it is still complicated and difficult to trace the minerals’country of origin.
To support that, Cvilux promises :
1. If any conflict mineral be applied in Cvilux material, suppliers must notify us immediately.
2. Suppliers have to conduct investigation on their supply chain to ensure the metal they used is not from conflict areas.
